To become a First Tee program location, the PGA of Canada coaches at your facility are required to complete First Tee training. Your respective First Tee provincial chapter will work with you to determine what level of training is required for your facility.
First Tee program locations must also provide free access to their driving range for First Tee participants before and after their lessons. Additionally, access to the facility for one First Tee – British Columbia fundraising event annually will be required, with more detailed information available on your respective First Tee provincial chapter’s website.

The First Tee School Program uses golf lessons to introduce students to character development during physical education class. This program gives physical educators all the tools to get started. First Tee – British Columbia will provide the training, equipment and lesson plans that integrate life skills and values with the game of golf and motor skills.
Chapter staff will support schools with the implementation of the First Tee School Program. Chapter staff will assist with identifying funding sources, school registration, teacher training and equipment delivery.
