VERNON, B.C. — Predator Ridge is proud to announce its Play It Forward initiative this April, donating $5 from every round booked throughout the month to First Tee – British Columbia, Golf Canada’s youth development program that uses the game of golf to teach valuable life skills and build character in young people from all backgrounds.
“At Predator Ridge, supporting programs like First Tee is about more than golf; it’s about investing in the next generation and ensuring the values of this game continue to grow with them,” said Brodie Carle, Director of Golf at Predator Ridge.
Predator Ridge has long supported the growth of junior golf in the Okanagan through a variety of youth programs and partnerships. The resort is home to a wide range of junior golf camps and programs, and works closely with the RINK Golf Academy, one of Canada’s leading player development programs, which provides elite coaching and training for aspiring young golfers.
By supporting First Tee – British Columbia through the Play It Forward initiative this April, Predator Ridge continues its commitment to growing the game while helping create opportunities for youth to develop confidence, character, and leadership through golf.
“We are immensely grateful to Predator Ridge for supporting First Tee – British Columbia,” said Kelly Baker-Pabla, development officer of First Tee – British Columbia. “This month-long initiative will greatly impact the growth and development of our chapter’s programs province wide. We hope more facilities will get involved in our programs. Whether by becoming a First Tee program location or running a fundraising initiative, the support goes a long way.”
First Tee – British Columbia provides accessible programming for youth ages 7 to 18, combining golf instruction with lessons in confidence, resilience, teamwork, and goal setting. Through fun, inclusive programs led by trained coaches, First Tee – British Columbia empowers young people to be the best version of themselves both on and off the course.
Guests and community members are encouraged to book a round this April and take part in supporting the next generation of golfers.
